Richardson Motorsport began as a family racing team, with dad Leigh and sisters Erin and Charlee. Charlee has continued racing, with Erin and Leigh supporting her as pit crew and mum Kellie supporting the team.

Charlee grew up spending most weekends at a go-kart track with her family. She has competed in karting series across Victoria and travelled to New South Wales and Tasmania for state events.

From country Victoria, Charlee grew up with a passion for motorsport and the challenge of racing. After years in sprint karting, she set her sights on open-wheel Formula Vee racing.

In her 2022 driver profile, Charlee was 15 and preparing to campaign in Formula Vee. She was seeking partners to support the move into a new category and opportunities to represent their brands.

Racing highlights

  • Participated in the FIA Girls on Track program.
  • Selected as a Grid Kid at the Australian Grand Prix.
  • Finished in the overall top three of the Golden Power Series across multiple years.
  • Achieved top-10 results at Victorian State Titles.

These highlights come from Charlee’s earlier racing profile, which also described her focus on fitness to become stronger on track.
